Even the healthiest people can be caught off guard when an accidental injury or sudden illness sends them to the Emergency Room. Unfortunately, most people don’t plan ahead for this kind of medical expense. Now you can.
With the Accident and Hospital Ca$hBack PlansSM from Nationwide Specialty Health, employees and their covered family members can be protected from the unexpected costs associated with an accident or hospital stay.
Plan basics:
- Employers must have 51 or more employees age 18 to 64
- Reimbursement is paid directly to employees to be used at their discretion
- Plans pay regardless of other existing insurance plans
Accident Ca$hBack PlanSM how does it work?
- Benefit year maximums range from $1,100 - $5,000
- Family maximums up to three times the employee benefit
- Benefits not limited to a predetermined schedule
Hospital Ca$hBack PlanSM how does it work?
- Benefit maximums range from $100 - $500 per day for semi-private stay
- Two times the base benefit for intensive care or cardiac care
- Up to 30 combined days per benefit year
Accident & Hospital Ca$hBack PlanSM how does it work?
- Accident - $500 per benefit year
- Hospital - $300/day; maximum 30 days per benefit year
- $1000 air ambulance benefit
- $300 ground ambulance benefit
- $100,000 lifetime maximum benefit
