Accidents can happen to anyone, even the safest drivers on the road. When you cause an accident, your auto insurance rates can rise significantly. Nationwide believes that drivers like you deserve a break.
That’s why we offer Accident Forgiveness.
What is Accident Forgiveness?
Available in select states, Accident Forgiveness is an auto insurance coverage option that potentially helps you avoid a rate increase after your first at-fault accident. Others on your policy can also benefit from Accident Forgiveness. But it can only be used once per policy.
How do I get Nationwide Accident Forgiveness?
You have to buy it as an addition to your regular auto insurance policy. Talk to your agent or give us a call. Even though Accident Forgiveness costs extra, it can more than offset the price increase you may see on your policy after an accident.
Other ways to save
If you insure more than one vehicle with us, you could save up to 20%. Check out these and other auto insurance discounts.
